About The Position

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Temporary Registered Nurse Traveler for a Critical Care Stepdown Unit - PVSU (Progressive Ventilator Stepdown Unit), full time Temp Night shift. This is a temporary assignment for 14 weeks with a pay rate of $70 per hour for the contract duration. The primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. Teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the best care for our patients.

Requirements

• Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ACLS
• Two or more years of hospital in-patient acute care hospital experience
• Experience with Vents and Trachs
