About The Position

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Temporary Registered Nurse Traveler for a Critical Care Stepdown Unit - PVSU (Progressive Ventilator Stepdown Unit), full time Temp Night shift. This is a temporary assignment for 14 weeks with a pay rate of $70 per hour for the contract duration. As a Registered Nurse with Sentara, you can excel in your career. This position's primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. Requirements

• Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ACLS
• Two or more years of hospital in-patient acute care hospital experience
• Experience with Vents and Trachs
