Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Medicine

Passport HealthKnoxville, TN
Onsite

About The Position

Passport Health is North America's largest travel medicine and immunization provider, with 300+ clinics across the U.S. and Canada. We're looking for experienced RNs who are ready to step out of a high-pressure hospital or traditional clinic setting and into a role built around autonomy, specialized expertise, and genuine one-on-one patient connection. This role offers a unique opportunity to run your own clinic, own your patient experience, and develop deep expertise in vaccine-preventable diseases, international health risks, and pre-travel health planning. Most nurses work independently, supported by clinical leadership, with the day-to-day management of the clinic being their responsibility. Travel medicine is a specialty where each client interaction is a true consultation.

  • Current First Aid/CPR certification
  • Ability to lift and transport vaccine inventory as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Travel medicine background
  • Adaptable - comfortable shifting gears between high-volume and consultative modes
  • Willing to work in both clinic types without switching locations
  • Reliable for weekend coverage and flexible with scheduling

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth travel health consultations and educate clients on destination-specific risks.
  • Administer vaccines per standing orders and monitor for adverse reactions.

  • Support onsite corporate wellness or vaccine clinic events as needed.
  • Complete ongoing travel medicine training.
