Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Medicine

Passport HealthBurbank, CA
Onsite

About The Position

Passport Health is North America’s largest travel medicine and immunization provider, with 300+ clinics across the U.S. and Canada. We’re looking for experienced Registered Nurses who are ready to step away from the pace and pressure of traditional healthcare settings and into a role centered around autonomy, specialized clinical expertise, and meaningful one-on-one patient care. Travel medicine allows you to use your nursing skills in a different way — helping clients prepare safely for international travel while building expertise in vaccines, global health risks, and preventative care. Most of our nurses work independently in a clinic setting — no charge nurse responsibilities, no hospital-style task overload, and no constant competing priorities. You’ll manage your clinic day by focusing on your clients, providing education, administering vaccines, and delivering an exceptional patient experience. You’ll have the support of a dedicated clinical leadership team, but your day-to-day practice is built around your clinical judgment and independence. Travel medicine is a true specialty. You’ll develop knowledge in areas many nurses never experience, including: Vaccine-preventable diseases, International health risks, Destination-specific travel recommendations, Preventative health planning, Patient education and consultation. Every appointment is a conversation — not just another task to complete.
