About The Position

Passport Health is North America's largest travel medicine and immunization provider, with over 300 clinics across the U.S. and Canada. This role offers experienced RNs an opportunity to move away from high-pressure hospital or traditional clinic settings into a role focused on autonomy, specialized expertise, and one-on-one patient connection. Most nurses work independently, managing their own day and client interactions, supported by clinical leadership. The role involves developing expertise in vaccine-preventable diseases, international health risks, and pre-travel health planning, with each client interaction being a true consultation.

Requirements

  • Active RN license in good standing.
  • Compact (multistate) RN licensure accepted (must legally reside in the state where licensed and providing care).
  • 3+ years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Comfortable working independently.
  • Strong patient communication and education skills.
  • Reliable access to a personal computer (desktop or laptop required for training systems).
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Meet).
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Ability to lift and transport vaccine inventory as needed (up to 25 lbs).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth travel health consultations and educate clients on destination-specific risks.
  • Administer vaccines per standing orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
  • Recommend and promote travel health products and medications as clinically appropriate.
  • Manage clinic setup, inventory, and compliance with safety and documentation protocols.
  • Support onsite corporate wellness or vaccine clinic events as needed.
  • Complete ongoing travel medicine training.
  • Perform immigration physicals and maintain strict USCIS documentation compliance (at specific locations).
  • Manage clinic operations with a focus on client demand and seasonal variations.
  • Adapt to a census-based scheduling model with potential week-to-week variability.
  • Lift and transport vaccine inventory as needed (up to 25 lbs).
