Passport Health is North America's largest travel medicine and immunization provider, with 300+ clinics across the U.S. and Canada. This role is not a traditional nursing role and offers autonomy, specialized expertise, and genuine one-on-one patient connection. Most nurses work independently, managing their day by seeing clients and providing them with the best experience possible, supported by a network of clinical leadership. Travel medicine is a specialty where you will develop deep expertise in vaccine-preventable diseases, international health risks, and pre-travel health planning. Every client interaction is a true consultation. This position is part-time, 24 hours per week, with compensation starting at $43.00/hr. The schedule is Monday-Friday with bi-weekly Saturdays. The role involves conducting in-depth travel health consultations, educating clients on destination-specific risks, administering vaccines, recommending travel health products, and managing clinic operations. Some locations also support immigration-related medical services, requiring civil surgeon exams and USCIS vaccination compliance, with training provided. The scheduling model is census-based, meaning hours are based on client demand and can vary weekly, though 6-12 months of consistency is aimed for. Flexibility and availability within set scheduling windows are required, and availability for weekend coverage, flexibility with scheduling, or willingness to cover multiple locations can increase scheduled hours. Peak travel seasons (February-August) generally bring higher and more stable volume.
