About The Position
Facilitate patient movement across markets based on acuity, bed availability, and service requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate levels of care. Connect requesting physicians with specialty consultants and maintain relationships with referral sources. Assist and maintain records with pre-registration, insurance verification, and overall care processes for process improvement purposes. Monitor status changes and relay pertinent medical reports to admitting physicians and nursing units.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Nice To Haves
- BLS Provider preferred.
- Critical care experience, such as ED highly desired.
