RN - Telemetry
About The Position
This is a 14-week contract position for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry, located in Olathe, Kansas. The contract runs through the holiday season and requires the nurse to work 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730), three shifts per week. The role includes an every-other-weekend requirement and the expectation to work one holiday from each designated holiday group. RNs must be willing to float to all acute care units. The facility is nicotine-free and utilizes EPIC for Electronic Medical Records. Orientation includes campus and unit-specific training, as well as virtual Epic training.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as an RN in Kansas or hold a Compact RN License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 18 months of experience in a hospital setting with a focus on Orthopedic and Spine care.
- New graduates are not accepted.
- Must be willing to float to all acute care units.
- Completion of a criminal background check, drug screening, and lab work within 72 hours after acceptance of the position.
Responsibilities
- Provide telemetry nursing care.
- Work 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730), three shifts per week.
- Work every other weekend.

- Float to all acute care units as needed.
- Complete orientation and training, including virtual Epic training.
- Adhere to the facility's shift cancellation policy.
