About The Position
Surgical 900 W South is a 25-bed adult med/surg unit specializing in GI and GU post-surgical patients. We offer specialized training in areas such as suprapubic catheter insertion and post-bariatric surgery care. This unit is ideal for those seeking to join a team that prioritizes patient care and manages a wide variety of diagnoses. We collaborate closely with other disciplines to ensure excellent patient outcomes. The unit is equipped with the latest technology, including a new virtual nursing program. Opportunities for continuing education and advancement are available.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
- RN license active in the state of Missouri
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate effective leadership abilities
- Exhibits valuable time management skills
- Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Previous nursing experience
