About The Position

Christiana Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Surgical Intermediate Step-Down Unit, 4D. This is a 35-bed Intermediate Care/Stepdown inpatient unit, caring for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This unit cares for patients requiring nursing interventions every 2-4 hours. This position is part-time, 48 hours per pay period, with hours from 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. This requires a weekend rotation and follows internal weekend requirement practice. Holidays are required per organization policy.

Requirements

• BSN required, or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire.
• One year of nursing experience required.
• Licensed or license eligibility in the state of Delaware.
• BLS Certification required.
• ACLS required within 1 year of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Two years' of nursing experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
