About The Position
Christiana Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Surgical Intermediate Step-Down Unit, 4D. This is a 35-bed Intermediate Care/Stepdown inpatient unit, caring for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This unit cares for patients requiring nursing interventions Q2-Q4 hours. This is a full-time position of 72 hours per pay/36 hours per week. The hours for this position are Overnights of 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. This requires a weekend rotation and follows internal weekend requirement practice. Holidays required per organization policy.
Requirements
- BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire.
- One year of nursing experience required.
- Licensed or license eligibility in the state of Delaware.
- BLS Certification required.
- ACLS required within 1 year of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Two years' of nursing experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Caring for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients on a 35-bed Intermediate Care/Stepdown inpatient unit.
- Providing nursing interventions every 2-4 hours.
- Working overnights from 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.
- Weekend rotation.
- Working holidays per organization policy.
