About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. This role utilizes evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. The position is located in a 16-bed unit that provides nursing care to a wide scope of surgical and trauma critical care patient population, including post-cardiac surgical cases.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferably in Critical Care or minimum 1-year nursing experience on surgical telemetry unit
