Registered Nurse RN Surgical ICU Weekend
About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) who will be scheduled and required to work 5 out of every 6 weekends. The RN protects, promotes, and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure. This role involves collaborating with Providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. The nurse will assess and support physical symptoms, provide psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentor assigned team members, promote best practices, and maintain a professional disposition at all times. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)
- Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.
- 1+ years of RN experience

- Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
