Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required
- Current, valid RN license from the State of Wyoming and must be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
- Current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within 60 days of hire and maintain credentials throughout employment with IMH.
- Current, valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must obtain within six (6) months of hire and maintain credentials throughout employment with IMH if taking call or administering conscious sedation.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospital experience preferred.
- CNOR Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of all aspects of care for patients within scope of practice.
- Provides education to patients according to their needs.
- Transcribes, utilizes and implements protocols and physician orders.
- Coordinates healthcare team and delegates appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel.
- Other duties as assigned.
