About The Position
Coordinates total nurse care for patient using professional AORN standards and the O.R. process; participates in patient care, teaching to patients and family, provides leadership working cooperatively with other health care providers, and provide outcomes appropriate to patient procedures.
Requirements
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current State Nursing License
- ACLS, PALS, and BLS required
- Within one year of being in the position, must complete the Trauma Nursing Core Certification (TNCC)
- Thereafter, must complete 8 hours of trauma continuing education annually
