About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgery Ambulatory Bring your passion for Texas Health So We Are Better + Together. Work hours: PRN-As Needed/Days; Variable Shifts. Must be available for weekend and holiday requirements. 2 shifts a week minimum (8:00a-6:30p or 9:00a-7:30p). Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma in nursing required or Associate’s degree in nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
  • Other – CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required
  • 1 year of experience as a registered nurse required
  • 1+ of critical care experience
  • RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required
  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days required
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
