About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the CVOR Surgery department. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a supportive, team environment with opportunities for growth. The hospital, Texas Health Plano, is a 386-bed, full-service facility serving North Texas, specializing in various medical services including emergency medicine, cardiology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, women's services, behavioral health, an intensive care unit, and advanced surgical services. It is a Level II Trauma Facility with Level IV NICU and Level IV Maternal facility designations, and a DNV-certified Comprehensive Stroke Program. The hospital is Magnet-designated and holds accreditations for Hip and Knee Replacement and is a Primary Heart Attack Center.

Requirements

Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s Degree of Nursing required
1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse required
Registered Nurse experience in CVOR strongly preferred
RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment
