About The Position

The RN Supervisor for the Collier Inpatient Hospice Unit provides clinical leadership and operational oversight for a 24‑bed inpatient hospice program, ensuring safe, compassionate, and high‑quality end‑of‑life care for patients and families. This role supports the core pillars of safety, quality, patient experience, and stewardship through strong clinical expertise, visible leadership, and collaboration with interdisciplinary hospice teams. In this RN Clinical Supervisor role, you’ll have a visible leadership presence—coaching caregivers, shaping staffing and operations, strengthening quality and safety practices, and partnering across teams to continuously improve the patient and caregiver experience. You’ll also help drive engagement and development through thoughtful check-ins, orientation support, and ongoing training. Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
  • Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (degree verification required). RNs must obtain their BSNs within four (4) years of hire or promotion date. If there is an existing education agreement, that agreement will take precedence.
  • Basic life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of clinical processes within clinical specialty.
  • Demonstrated communication skills in recommending quality, customer service, and safety measures.
  • Demonstrated track record of effectively mentoring and developing staff.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) is required as of the job’s description’s last update in June 2025. Employees hired or promoted prior to this date will be held to the minimum requirements that were in place at the time of their promotion or hire.
  • Two (2) years of experience supervising clinical staff.
  • Certification in a relevant clinical specialty area
  • 3-5 years hospice experience, preferably inpatient
