What You Get To Do: The registered nurse will assure that each individual in assigned programs receives quality, individualized health care management resulting in optimal health. Health care will be provided to individuals in a manner which is normalizing, sensitive to their needs and respectful of their dignity, while encouraging autonomy. The registered nurse functions as a health resource to staff and will, in addition to other duties: Assure that the home is in compliance with all licensure requirements. Assure organizational policies regarding health issues, medical care and records. Provide oversight to ensure documentation, health/clinical assessments, and billing are in compliance with Medicaid regulations. Provide health care supports on an as needed basis. Supervise medication administration of non-licensed staff in residential home support settings and day programs.
