About The Position
Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a Full Time Night Shift Registered Nurse Supervisor with current OR/Surgery Department experience. The work location is Texas Health Fort Worth, a 726-bed, Magnet-designated regional referral center located at 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, TX 76104. The hospital has served Tarrant County and surrounding communities since 1930, offering services such as cardiovascular care, high-risk obstetrics, gynecology, orthopedics and sports medicine, neonatal intensive care, and trauma/emergency medicine. In 2014, a new 75,000 square foot Emergency Services Center was opened. Texas Health Fort Worth employs over 4,000 individuals, has 200 volunteers, and nearly 1,000 physicians on its medical staff. It has received national recognition for its oncology program, was named “Best Place to Have a Baby” in Tarrant County, and is a designated Cycle III Chest Pain Center. The department offers a team-based environment and a highly-rated workplace culture.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- 2 Years experience as a registered nurse with previous experience as a charge nurse or similar leadership role (i.e. Charge nurse, committee chair, preceptor)
- RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days
