Requirements

Three years as a Registered Nurse (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability.
Active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
If possessing an active temporary practice permit, must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Ability to perform essential job functions.
Submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance (conditional offer of employment).

Responsibilities

Oversees nursing services to ensure residents receive high quality care and support.
Supervises staff, coordinates care, and maintains a safe environment.
Guides staff in planning, implementing, and evaluating resident care across multiple areas.
Supports collaboration among nursing staff, administration, and interdisciplinary teams.
Provides clear communication to residents, families, and staff while facilitating organizational updates.
Offers ongoing training, orientation, and performance guidance for nursing personnel.
Completes records, evaluations, and required reports while monitoring resident care quality.
Responds to critical situations and ensures resident safety during urgent events.
