About The Position
Pine Crest Health and Memory Care is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor to join their team. This role is responsible for ensuring residents receive routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with their assessment and care plan. The supervisor will also ensure staff complete compliance training, serve as a mentor to new licensed nurses, assist with hiring processes, and communicate new programs and procedures to the nursing staff. The position follows the standard Registered Nurse job description.
Requirements
- RN license is required
- At least 2-year experience as a licensed nurse
Responsibilities
- Ensures that the residents are provided with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan
- Assures that all staff complete required compliance training and processes
- Responsible for serving as a mentor to new licensed nurses, providing orientation, assisting with training and making recommendations to nursing administration
- Assists with new employee selection and hiring process
- Evaluates the skills of New Licensed Nurses and makes recommendations to management regarding the state of a new employee's orientation program
- Communicates new programs, interventions and new procedures with the Licensed Nurse Staff.
