About The Position
Seeking a Surgical Services Supervisor for a full-time position. The clinical supervisor functions as an extension of the Manager and/or Director by developing and monitoring staff practice for consistency with policies, procedures, and standards of practice. This role is with Baptist Health Floyd, a Pathway to Excellence® designated organization, located in the Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area. The organization is a regional, non-profit community hospital that promotes continued education and growth.
Requirements
- Graduate of approved nursing program
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license
- BLS for Healthcare Providers required
- Two (2) years of clinical/hospital setting with at least one (1) year of experience in surgical care setting
- Previous Supervisory experience
Nice To Haves
- CNOR certification, within 12 months of hire
- ACLS certification (obtained within 12 months of hire)
