As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will perform the following duties: Patient Care Leadership: Guide clinical care processes to maintain safe, therapeutic services across units. Staff Supervision: Oversee nursing performance, complete evaluations, and support skill development. Safety Enforcement: Maintain environmental safety, monitor infection control standards, and follow emergency health and safety procedures. Team Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment goals and ensure communications between shifts. Administrative Management: Handle staffing needs, leave requests, reports, and documentation requirements. Policy Compliance: Apply regulations and address concerns related to complaints, grievances, and discipline.

Requirements

  • Three years as a Registered Nurse (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
  • Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability.
  • Active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
  • All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions.
