About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse Supervisor (Medical) at Idaho State Correctional Institution in Kuna, Idaho. The position works under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) to supervise nursing and support staff. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, the supervisor provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients with a wide range of physical and behavioral health needs. The role is a full-time day-shift position and may be asked to cover shifts due to paid time off, staff shortages, or call-outs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or an associate's degree plus at least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one.
- Current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening, or ability to obtain it.
- Active, appropriate Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Corrections experience preferred.
