About The Position

This role is responsible for driving shift performance and staff development by assigning, mentoring, and evaluating nursing and support teams to foster a high-performing unit. The supervisor will optimize daily patient assignments through active needs assessments, ensuring tailored, population-appropriate care for every patient. Additionally, they will elevate clinical outcomes by continuously assessing care quality, proactively identifying bottlenecks, and implementing immediate solutions. The role also involves protecting the patient experience by swiftly addressing concerns and resolving care complaints through appropriate channels.

Requirements

Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
