About The Position

Join a Progressive Care/Stepdown Unit as a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment working night shifts from 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM with 36 guaranteed hours per week. This role provides specialized care for patients requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing interventions, including post-surgical patients, cardiac patients, stroke patients, and those requiring complex medical management. The RN will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced stepdown environment.

Requirements

• 2 years of RN Stepdown/Progressive Care experience required
• Telemetry monitoring experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Active Michigan RN License required
• BLS Certification (AHA) required
• ACLS Certification (AHA) required
• Strong critical care assessment and clinical judgment skills required
• Experience caring for cardiac, post-surgical, and high-acuity medical patients required

Responsibilities
