Registered Nurse - Stepdown Cardiac
About The Position
This is a Registered Nurse position in a Stepdown Cardiac unit. Candidates must have at least one year of experience with Epic EMR, strong Cardiac Tele Experience, and hold BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications. Pending licenses are accepted. There are no RTO restrictions, but all requested time off must be included at the time of submission, with approval based on facility needs. The facility allows for one shift off per two weeks. The unit has an average daily census of 24 with staffing ratios of 4:1. Charting is done via Pyxis. Parking is free. Prisma Health requires all agency staff to float to other units and/or campuses per request due to census concerns, provided they are qualified and have demonstrated competencies for the tasks.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience with Epic EMR.
- Strong Cardiac Tele Experience.
- BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications.
- Include ALL RTO at time of submission.
- 1+ year of experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a Stepdown Cardiac unit.
- Float to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses as requested due to census concerns, provided they are qualified and have demonstrated competencies.
