About The Position
This is a 48-hour contract position for a Step Down Registered Nurse in the IMCU. The unit has 10-16 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4. The role requires an ASAP start.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience required.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with conditions including Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, TDM2, substance abuse, and encephalopathy.
- Administer Heparin Drips.
- Perform nursing duties in a Step Down unit setting.
