About The Position

This is a procedural nursing opportunity in a busy endoscopy department. The role involves gaining knowledge in endoscopic GI procedures, pulmonary procedures, and assisting with injections for the physiatry (pain) service line. The position is 0.6 FTE, requiring 24 hours per biweekly pay period, with 8 or 10-hour day shifts. Nights and weekend call are required.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington (or a multi-State license from a Compact state).
  • Healthcare provider BLS and ACLS Certification required.
  • One year of hospital bedside nursing experience required.
  • Must take a rhythm assessment in the first week if hired into a unit requiring cardiac rhythm interpretation competency.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred.
  • Endoscopy experience is desired.
  • One to two years’ experience working with Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform procedural nursing duties in an endoscopy department.
