About The Position

Our busy endoscopy department is looking for candidates to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to learn procedural nursing, gaining knowledge in endoscopic GI procedures, pulmonary procedures, and assisting with injections for our physiatry (pain) service line. While endoscopy experience is desired, we are excited to teach the necessary skills for success in this field. This is a 0.6 FTE position, equating to a 24-hour biweekly pay period, with 8 or 10-hour Day shifts. Nights and Weekend Call are required. A sign-on bonus is eligible for this position.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing required.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington (or a multi-state license from a Compact state).
• Healthcare provider BLS and ACLS Certification required.
• One year of hospital bedside nursing experience required.
• RNs hired into units that require a competency in cardiac rhythm interpretation will be required to take a rhythm assessment in their first week, including standard cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias and paced rhythms.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• Endoscopy experience is desired.
• One to two years’ experience working with Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with endoscopic GI procedures.
• Assist with pulmonary procedures.

• Provide nursing care in a procedural setting.
• Participate in nights and weekend call rotations.
