RN's specialize in providing highly skilled, complex care to surgical oncology patients on this unit. Nurses also serve ENT, Thoracic, Urology, Plastics, and General surgery patients. The patient population includes those that are critically ill and require ventilation, vasopressors, continuous dialysis, and therapeutic specialty beds. We are looking for someone who exhibits strong initiative, compassion, high integrity, and collaboration to join this high functioning team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of RN experience.
  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN).
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide highly skilled, complex care to surgical oncology patients.
  • Serve ENT, Thoracic, Urology, Plastics, and General surgery patients.
  • Care for critically ill patients requiring ventilation, vasopressors, continuous dialysis, and therapeutic specialty beds.
