About The Position

Merakey is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in their Ft. Worth, TX School. In this role, you will help support the health, safety, and overall well-being of the students and individuals served while working in a collaborative and rewarding school environment.

Requirements

Active RN license in the state of Texas
1-year experience in nursing

Nice To Haves

Experience working with students with an autism diagnosis is preferred

Responsibilities

Administering medications and carrying out physician and therapeutic treatment orders
Monitoring, assessing, and documenting vital signs and overall health status
Training individuals in self-administration of medications when appropriate
Participating in and supporting therapeutic groups and activities
Completing accurate and timely medical documentation, progress notes, and health records
Responding to medical concerns, incidents, and emergencies within the school setting
Collaborating with clinical, educational, and behavioral health teams to support student success
Promoting a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for individuals served
