About The Position

Indiana University Health is looking for passionate, experienced nurses to join our team and collaborate with top medical professionals. This is a fast-paced pre/post area. We pre-op a variety of surgical patients from multiple specialties. Currently we recover Endoscopy patients. If you are a team player and eager to learn and grow your nursing skills, we have availability for nurses. We are open Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 8:30 PM, Monday-Friday, no scheduled weekends or holidays. Minimal call is required within a 6-week period.

Requirements

• Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
