About The Position
AffiniCare, Care Initiatives’ internal staffing agency, is hiring Registered Nurses to provide staffing support at Care Initiatives’ skilled nursing communities. The position offers a customizable, flexible schedule, with the ability to choose preferred hours and work at multiple Care Initiatives locations within a region to cover open shifts. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, and employees must work a minimum of 16 hours per month. RNs provide compassionate resident care and support clinical operations while working in varied skilled nursing settings. Requirements
- Active Iowa RN license.
- Active CPR certification.
- Twelve months of verifiable experience working as an RN.
- Ability to travel between multiple Care Initiatives communities within the region.
- Must live within a reasonable driving distance of Care Initiatives communities.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
- Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
- Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
- Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, providers, and other interdisciplinary team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
- Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
- Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
- Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols.
