Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides nursing care in a skilled nursing facility. The role assesses residents’ needs, develops individualized care plans, administers and evaluates nursing care, and supervises nursing assistants and other personnel delivering care. Supervision and care must comply with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as directions from the Director of Nursing Services or designee, to maintain a high degree of quality care. The nurse follows health, sanitation, and infection-control policies and established standards of practice. The position is offered full-time or part-time, with night shifts and every other weekend required. The stated work location in the posting is Gastonia Health and Rehab, 1770 Oak Hollow Road, Gastonia, NC 28054; the posting also lists Rock Hill, South Carolina. Qualified international Registered Nurses may be eligible for visa sponsorship, including coverage of legal and filing fees.
Requirements
- Possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state where the employee works.
- Possess current CPR certification.
- Have basic computer skills and the ability to navigate software programs, including electronic health record software.
