About The Position

Utilizing the nursing process, the Registered Nurse provides high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care. The RN coordinates patient care collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team and communicates the patient's clinical condition as appropriate, responding quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. The role requires knowledge of growth and development across the life span and the skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care to the patient population served. The RN promotes the nursing profession and professional practice through collegial support and interactions. The position reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current licensure in the State of Connecticut.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification upon hire or obtained within the new employee introductory orientation period, and maintained during employment in this role.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Clinical competency must be maintained during employment in this role.
