About The Position

The Inpatient Registered Nurse safely provides and guides direct patient care within the hospital setting. Responsibilities include implementing plans of care, delivering clinical interventions, and managing medication administration. The role focuses on individualized, effective care and positive patient outcomes in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The position is with The Surgical Hospital at Southwoods, an acute care facility within Southwoods Health. The hospital provides inpatient, outpatient, and robotic-assisted surgery and emphasizes quality, efficiency, and patient experience. The schedule is three 12-hour day shifts per week.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver safe, effective care tailored to individual patient needs.
• Partner with the multidisciplinary team to update progress toward goals and support positive patient outcomes.
• Monitor for changes in patient condition and execute ordered interventions appropriately.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Maintain patient privacy and ensure the confidentiality of protected information.
• Utilize facility resources appropriately to practice cost containment.
• Participate in facility training and continuous learning opportunities.
• Implement plans of care, deliver clinical interventions, and manage medication administration.
