About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated full time Nurse to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our employees. This is a Second Shift position with a contract duration from May 2026 to January 2028. The role involves promoting workplace health and safety, managing injuries and illnesses, conducting health screenings, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting case management, developing wellness programs, responding to medical emergencies, performing ergonomic assessments, and providing health-related training. The nurse will collaborate with HR, safety teams, and management to maintain a healthy work environment.

Requirements

Registered Nurse with a valid license in Michigan.
2 years of experience in Family/General/Occupational Health
Strong knowledge of disability management and return-to-work protocols
Proven ability to develop and implement personalized care plans
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

Promote workplace health and safety by identifying and mitigating health risks.
Provide first aid, assess workplace injuries, and coordinate care with healthcare providers.
Conduct pre-employment screenings, routine health exams, and drug testing.
Ensure adherence to OSHA, ADA, FMLA, and other workplace health regulations.
Support employees with return-to-work programs, workers' compensation claims, and accommodations.
Develop wellness programs, including stress management, nutrition, and preventive care initiatives.
Train employees in CPR/First Aid and respond to medical emergencies.
Recommend workplace modifications to prevent injuries.
Provide health-related training sessions to employees on topics like workplace hazards and disease prevention.
Work with HR, safety teams, and management to maintain a healthy work environment.
