About The Position

Texoma Medical Center is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse for vascular access (PICC). The role provides safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy, while offering professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Patient-Centered Care provides the foundation for nursing care, and the nurse is expected to demonstrate Service Excellence standards and follow professional nursing standards of practice.

Texoma Medical Center is a 414-bed acute care facility serving North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. Its main campus is in Denison, Texas, with additional facilities throughout the region. The center provides specialty services including open heart surgery, neurosurgery, and certified trauma care.

Requirements

• Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
• Two years of acute care experience, including IV insertions.
• RQI BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
• Complete the required BLS Healthcare Provider and Emergency Cardiovascular Care Healthcare Provider courses before working in a clinical setting; these courses will be provided during new-hire orientation or upon transfer.
• Successfully pass any pre-employment assessments required by the facility.
