About The Position

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Carolinas Primary Care, located at Atrium Health Anson in Wadesboro, is a rural primary care facility serving patients across Anson County. The clinic provides comprehensive care for individuals of all ages, offering preventive services, wellness exams, pediatric care, women’s health, geriatric services, and management of chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, COPD, allergies, and thyroid disorders. We are a unique, fully integrated facility in which our outpatient primary care office is located within the same building as the Emergency Department and inpatient hospital. This structure allows for exceptional continuity of care, seamless collaboration between outpatient, ED, and inpatient teams, and efficient transitions of care for our rural community. The clinic also provides same‑day sick visits, minor injury treatment, and in‑office laboratory services, supporting timely and coordinated care for patients seeking both routine and acute medical attention.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Current certification in BLS required

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of prior ambulatory experience preferred
  • BSN preferred
