About The Position

TriHealth Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture/partnership/affiliation with Select Medical, is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. The hospital provides care for people facing medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges related to brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas.

The RN works 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. On each shift, the nurse partners with a Nursing Assistant and manages a manageable caseload, helping patients achieve goals and milestones established in their individual care plans. Compensation is $37.90 to $51.00 per hour, based on experience, and the position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification at hire.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a Nursing Assistant on each shift and help patients meet goals and milestones in their individualized care plans.
• Receive patient admissions and transfers.
• Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Document patient care accurately and on time using EPIC.
• Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Instruct and counsel patients and their families.
