About The Position

Sea Grove Recovery, located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, is seeking a Day shift Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. Sea Grove Recovery provides substance use treatment for adults, including dual diagnosis treatment for those with co-occurring mental health disorders. The facility offers detox, residential care, and a partial hospitalization program (PHP). The RN will play a vital role in both the detox and residential treatment programs, reporting directly to the Director of Nursing (DON). This role involves participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, conducting patient rounding, applying knowledge of detox protocols, completing standardized withdrawal assessments (COWS and CIWA), and educating patients on withdrawal and recovery. The RN will also participate in the admission process, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and ensure patient safety during detox. The position emphasizes creating a supportive environment that promotes recovery and healing through teamwork and effective communication.

Requirements

Associate's Degree Required
Active RN license in the state of SC.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of 3-5 years of substance use treatment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Conducting regular patient rounding to ensure safety.
