Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Unit - Night Shift

About The Position
The Registered Nurse serves as the primary coordinator of all disciplines involved in well-coordinated patient care. The RN monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions using computerized documentation systems; performs patient tests and administers medications within the scope of RN practice; and assesses and coordinates discharge planning with the healthcare team. The RN also teaches patients and families about health conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- License to practice professional nursing in Kentucky.
- Current BCLS and ACLS upon hire.
- Interpersonal skills to interact successfully with patients, guests, physicians, and other employees.
