About The Position

National Park Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The nurse will provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill patients with complex medical needs as part of a dedicated critical care team. The role involves assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments, monitoring responses, and promoting patient comfort and safety. Nurses use clinical judgment and critical care nursing skills in a collaborative environment focused on exceptional patient care. The position is full-time and works nights. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered with a two-year commitment.

Requirements

• Current state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to each patient's condition and age.
• Complete timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate quality-improvement assessments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
