Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
We are looking for a talented RN to help us grow! This PRN position offers supplemental income with the opportunity to set your own hours. As we bring on more clients, the opportunity will grow. The RN will perform assessments on patients in their homes to determine the level of assistance needed, including but not limited to: assistance with showering/bathing, transferring, toileting, feeding, dressing, medication reminders, meal preparation, transportation, light housekeeping, companionship, and transportation for shopping, doctor appointments, or errands. The goal is to help each patient remain in their home for as long as possible with ADL assistance. This position is part-time.
Requirements
- Must have current RN license
- 18 years or older
- Be able to pass a background check
- Have a reliable vehicle
- First Aid Certification or training
- Be comfortable working independently with no direct supervision in the clients home
- Excellent communication
- Reliable
Responsibilities
- Perform assessments on patients in their homes to determine the level of assistance needed.
- Assess each patient, document and complete assessment paperwork on each client.
- Submit the paperwork in a timely manner.
- Make their own assessment appointments by contacting the client directly.
- Meet a five-day deadline when each authorization is coming due for each patient.
