About The Position
This position is for a triage nurse at the Jan and Ed Brown Center for Pulmonary Medicine, which offers state-of-the-art pulmonary medicine care for patients of all ages. The center provides comprehensive services including diagnosis and treatment of various lung conditions such as cystic fibrosis, COPD, asthma, ILD, and lung cancer. They also offer same-day sick visits, chronic disease management, and specialized programs like cystic fibrosis care, interventional pulmonology, pulmonary function testing, asthma treating injections, and appointments with a Pharmacist for education and maintenance. The triage nurse role is a key component to many of these services.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- Previous pulmonary experience preferred
- BSN preferred
