Southern Live Oak Wellness (SLOW), LLC is an evidence-based, client-centered behavioral health organization offering Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Day and Evening Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Residential Treatment, and specialized inpatient services. We provide care across multiple levels of need in a warm, welcoming environment that meets clients where they are and empowers them to “be the great person they were always meant to be.” As part of our continued growth and commitment to expanding access to specialized care, S.L.O.W. Academy is opening an 8-bed inpatient treatment center dedicated to adolescents struggling with eating disorders. This program will provide highly structured, multidisciplinary care designed specifically for adolescents, supporting both medical stabilization and long-term recovery. At Southern Live Oak Wellness Academy, Registered Nurses (RNs) play a vital role in the treatment team and are often the first medical professional to interact with clients upon admission. The RN is responsible for monitoring patients’ medical status, administering medications, documenting clinical information, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care. SLOW maintains a strong commitment to training motivated nurses who are passionate about behavioral health and adolescent care.
