We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in sub-acute care, experience with admissions, and excellent communication skills for interacting with residents and their families. This role is vital in ensuring the highest standard of care and support for our senior community.

Requirements

  • Current RN license in the state of New Jersey
  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with a focus on sub-acute care
  • Strong knowledge of nursing care methods, procedures, and emergency care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
  • Experience with PointClickCare

Nice To Haves

  • Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents with sub-acute conditions, including post-operative care, wound management, and other specialized nursing needs.
  • Manage and coordinate the admissions process, including assessments, documentation, and communication with potential residents and their families.
  • Act as a liaison between residents, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure clear and compassionate communication regarding care plans, health updates, and any other concerns.
  • Administer medications, monitor side effects, and ensure compliance with prescribed treatments.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and aides, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards, maintaining accurate and thorough documentation.
