About The Position
The Registered Nurse performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel in providing nursing care according to the state nurse practice act. The Registered Nurse assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided. This position is in the ICU on days.
Requirements
- Georgia Registered Nurse License or Multistate Nursing License.
- Healthcare Provider CPR certification, or obtain it within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS within 6 months of hire for ICU roles.
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing functions according to the state nurse practice act.
- Supervise other RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel in providing nursing care.
- Assess patient needs.
- Plan and implement patient care.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided.
